Bringing Precon’s Offering to the Main Stage
Precon’s innovative and highly technical structures are concealed underground, keeping cities running smoothly through infrastructure and water management. Their refreshed brand guidelines added a modern take to their original logo, more accurately reflecting the cutting edge technology they’ve pioneered in the precast concrete solutions industry.
Precon’s products are fabricated at their Lethbridge facility and then transported to job sites around the country. Since almost all of Precon’s structures go underground, the only opportunity for them to be seen by the public is either on the back of a flatbed truck on the way to a job site, or sitting on that job site waiting to go into the ground.
Previously, the Precon logo was spray painted on each structure using a stencil before it left the yard. The result was inconsistent, difficult to apply, prone to error, and had low readability. Our updated solution was to create a decal of the new logo that could stand out and function as an advertising tool for the brand. Flipp designed the decal and sourced a vendor that offers an incredible and durable product that can be printed to accurate colour specifications and applied to concrete. The new decals are a huge success and are now a fun opportunity to “spot Precon in the wild”.
With an updated brand and materials in place, Precon needed a new website experience that could both support their sales team by showcasing their robust offering, as well as aid in recruitment by demonstrating their company culture, passion, and values.
