SCAM ALERT
We would like to bring to your attention that Flipp Advertising Inc. is being used as part of a current scam that targets job seekers. Fraudsters may reach out to you with job offers in order to get your personal information or request payment. They have used our brand, forged our signatures, and impersonated our team. They have even suggested this scam alert you are reading was posted by them.
If someone contacts you on WhatsApp claiming to be a recruiter working on behalf of Flipp, please block the number and report the scam to our team as we work to collect further evidence and continue our reporting. Please note, our team would never reach out to you using WhatsApp. Our only domains are flippadvertising.com and thinkflipp.com. Do not register or provide any information on sites claiming to be Flipp, using another domain.
Here are a few tips on how to identify a fraudulent message:
- A message you were not expecting
- It comes from a number or email you don’t recognize
- It contains a link (avoid clicking it)
- It offers unrealistic salaries or working arrangements
- They are asking for money or personal details, such as your CV
- The messages are poorly written and contain spelling errors
